Kiley: "Tax cuts created jobs and wealth in this country"

Fact: Corporations bought back stock and did not invest in jobs. It was Biden's CHIPS and Science Act that incentivized bringing jobs back and increased manufacturing in the U.S.

 

Kiley: The Fiscal Responsibility Act increases funding for Veterans' services.

Fact: The Continuing Resolution that Kiley voted for reduces funding for veterans. Thousands of VA jobs have been slashed by DOGE.

 

In honor of St Pat's Day, Kiley did quite the jig refusing to say what he would do to protect Congress' constitutional authority, or how the budget could be achieved without cutting Social Security, Medicaid and critical nutrition programs.

 

Kiley denied climate change is increasing our fire risk, blamed CA for the Fed's poor management of national forest lands, and

took credit for road repair funding even though it was because of Biden's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. He blamed CA every chance he got and minimized damage being done by the Trump administration.

 

Finally, because it was not in-person, speakers could not follow up to challenge Kiley's statements; all of us were prevented from expressing support or opposition to his or the speakers' statements; and those with a hearing impairment were disadvantaged.
