Get Out The Vote

Now Folsom Area Dems, let's get those ballots filled out and sent back!

Yes, we know the Governor's race is still taking shape, but don't let uncertainty there keep your ballot sitting at home! Make your decision and vote.

We know there's been messaging for Dems to hold their ballots. Attorney General Bonta said social media posts discouraging Democrats from voting early could be misinformation or disinformation. And a Facebook post telling Dems to vote late is falsely attributed to historian Heather Cox Richardson. She told the Los Angeles Times, “I didn’t write it and we can’t figure out who did.”

Disregard the messaging you may hear to hold your vote and get your ballot in early.

Make sure to vote before June 2nd, and help your friends and family do the same

And we have the information below to help you along the way.

Call or Write Your Elected Officials

various-stamps

Hold our elected officials accountable. Make periodic calls to our representatives to let them know you're paying attention. Tell them  your position on issues critical to our rights, our Democracy, and our future.  Even better, put your words to paper and send a letter.

FADC will regularly send out Rapid Response Requests to call specific representatives on specific topics, but in the meantime, keep the pressure on.  Check the numbers under "Outreach" for specific people.
