  • Your passport is the most comprehensive identification document available. Use the "passport" link  if you need to apply, or need to renew.

  •  It's always good to have paper copies of birth and marriage certificates. These may comin in handy if you are an LGBTQ family or if you could be targeted by ICE. The paper copies link will enable you to apply for copies of these documents. 

  • If you are Native American, talk to your tribe about identification documents (Native Americans are some of the most frequently detained groups.)

  • If you have children and are worried you might be separated from them, apply for Standby Guardianship, which allows you to legally select a temporary guardian for your children without forfeiting your parental rights in the event you are separated. 

  • The Sacramento LGBT Center provides resources for LGBTQ families and allies. Click the link for Community, Health & Wellness, Services & ways to donate or volunteer.  

  •  If you or someone you know may be at risk of domestic violence due to the normalcy of abuse within our current "leadership," find resources at Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE)

  • Planned Parenthood provides health services including family planning and reproductive support. Note: Plan B is good for 4 years. Stock up now!

  • SHRA, Folsom Housing, and the (Twin Lakes/Folsom) Food Bank links will take you to sites that provide support and services for families suffering from housing or food insecurity.
